The Project Engineer will need to perform specialty instrument design work and advance projects through the design/development process to the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Modeling and detailing of instrumentation designs utilizing the PRO E design software. •Development of prototypes for design verification and validation. •Interfacing with surgeons and sales reps to gather input for design and evaluation of new instruments. •Utilization / Management of the Design Controls. •Technical report writing. •Utilize knowledge of all aspects of the surgical procedure in order to develop innovative solutions to solve / satisfy customer needs. •Manage a high volume of requests and work to tight deadlines to provide fast and efficient service to the customer.
QUALIFICATIONS:2 + years of product design experience in the medical device industry or iliarity with design controls with in a regulated or work experience in the medical device industry f-starters, have a hands-on approach and capability to work erience with a parametric CAD design package. PRO E preferred.
